James I. Torres

Architecture, as an inherently multidisciplinary profession, requires a person to wear many hats. We are both the artist and the master builder, the historian and the seer, the business person and the philosopher.

My seemingly opposing backgrounds in data analytics, digital marketing, and the visual arts industries is crucial to this architectural approach in that it has helped me develop both an enthusiasm for data-influenced design solutions and a fascination with more intuitive spatial, temporal, and material organizations. I consistently aim to adapt these qualities to the realization of an empathetic built environment while gaining new experience through my involvement in the communities my work affects.
