The Rose Townhouses consist of three units of 1,900 square feet each. The townhouses have two intersecting volumes. The first is a rectangular box clad with metal siding containing the living room, dining room, kitchen and a study open to the living room above and below. The flat roof of this volume forms an observation deck providing panoramic views of downtown Houston. The second volume has a vaulted roof. It contains the private spaces of the house. The arced volume opens toward the east, allowing clerestory windows to capture natural light.
